Our Ingredients Kitchen is a wet processing facility which can also handle a wet-dry raw ingredient blend. We operate Research and Development facilities on site and utilise third party partners. Our capabilities allow us to work with customers looking to create a base powder or tariff buster formulation.
We are a leading manufacturer of functional dairy ingredients. In line with customers’ growing demand for clean, natural and healthy products, we are developing across a number of categories such as:
- Enriched nutritional ingredients
- Functional dairy based powders
- Fortified whole milk replacers
- Milk alternatives
With these demands in mind, Tipperary Cooperative’s Innovation strategy centres around four pillars for growth:
Dryer Capability
A new highly technical dryer was designed to provide maximum functionality to the products we produce, which began operating in 2020. It is built to serve both food grade and pharmaceutical standards.
Evaporator capability can produce high quality infant milk formula and industry quality protein. This is done in a most efficient manner, achieved using TVR (Thermo Vapor Recompression) over the standard MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression).
Tipperary Cooperative’s Spray Drying technology:
- Our new modern spray drying plant is commissioned, validated and actively producing premium products, supplying infant milk formula to customers globally.
- Functional characteristics include high-pressure nozzle design, precise control of particle size leading to an increased solubility profile, complete agglomeration efficiency.
- Hygienic design ensures no microbiological or cross-contamination risk.
